The Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Wyoming is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Multidisciplinary Advanced Stimulation Laboratory (MASL).
This position targets candidates with strong experimental depth and a demonstrated ability to translate laboratory research into high-impact publications. The successful applicant will work closely with Dr. Soheil Saraji and contribute to advancing research in subsurface energy systems, spanning hydrocarbon recovery, carbon storage, and emerging energy technologies.
The role provides a platform to lead experimental research initiatives, publish in top-tier journals, and develop an independent research trajectory within a growing, well-connected program.

Preferred: Hands-on experience with core flooding, geomechanics, microfluidics, or high-pressure/high-temperature systems; background in multiphase flow, reactive transport, or coupled processes; experience integrating experiments with modeling/CFD/ML workflows.
